Application:

EME TAIFUN cleaning systems are designed for cleaning the inside of wide-mouthed bottles, glass jars and cans. They are available with a choice of cleaning media: air, hot or cold water or steam.

Modified versions are available for cleaning the external surfaces of closed containers.

Operation:

The containers are received single file from the feeding system and pass via a starwheel into the inverting section, a twister arrangement is used to invert the containers.

As they travel through the equipment they are inverted and then they travel over the nazzle arrangement, where the chosen cleaning material (air, water or steam) is injected into the container, to thouroughly clean the inside. Prior to being righted the containers travel over a draining section, with the container opening still downwards. After drying the conatiners are righted prior to exiting the machine for further line operations.

Construction:

EME TAIFUN cleaning systems employ a rigid self supporting stainless steel housing, the bottom portion of which is designed as a though for the collection of debris and liquid cleaning media. The inverting mechanism and nozzle assembly are also a stainless steel construction, with the inverting container guides covered with teflon tubing to reduce the effects of friction.

All components and assemblies are easily accessible for service and maintenance.

Container inverting units are available as change parts, to obtain optimum performance for different diameters and heights of containers, with starwheels to suit the container shape.

A complete recirculating system with steam heating coil is also available, when the EME TAIFUN is equipped to use the hot water cleaning medium.

Capacity:

Up to a maximum of 300 containers per minute, depending on container dimension and cleaning media
